StudioDO   Expressive Arts Therapy

Sometimes words aren’t sufficient to embody our pain, fear, shame. At StudioDO, we use the arts—drawing, painting, sculpting, collage, dance/movement, sound/music, poetry/prose and drama—to express the unspeakable and illuminate the path to change.

You don’t have to be an artist to benefit from expressive arts therapy; in fact, no prior arts experience is needed. Our sessions take place in a private studio equipped with musical instruments, art supplies, costumes, masks and more. I’ll be your guide as you experiment with the modalities and media of your choice.

Expressive Arts Therapy is helpful to clients suffering with depression, anxiety, eating disorders, addiction, relationship issues, low self-esteem, abuse, trauma, loss and transition. Call me to discuss how expressive arts therapy can benefit you or your loved one.
